Competition

Corporate Challenge, an Olympic-style competition organized by the City of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services, is one of the largest amateur athletic events in Southern Nevada. Each spring for approximately 12 weeks, companies of similar size compete against each other in various sports and games (track and field, tennis, chess, volleyball, swimming, soccer, fishing, etc).

GCW has dominated our Division (150-500 employees) since 1998 in all areas of the Corporate Challenge competition including overall team standings, good sportsmanship awards, volunteer participation and even T-shirt design. We also consistently rank among the Division’s United Blood Services giving event component of the competition as top blood donors.

Employee participation in Corporate Challenge fosters a spirit of company pride and teamwork that spills back into the office. It also reinforces GCW’s commitment to the health and well being of each employee.
