James's
career spans over three decades in the management, administration, and
engineering design of projects associated with civil infrastructure
facilities. As President and CEO of GCW, James provides invaluable
leadership related to strategic planning efforts to advance the
company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability,
and growth as an organization. He evaluates organizational processes,
develops and recommends business strategies, establishes long-range
goals, analyzes market opportunities for corporate expansion, and often
participates in quality assurance/quality control reviews of major
projects. James oversees daily operations of the firm to ensure
production efficiency, service, and cost-effective management of
resources to meet the schedules of all clients. James is responsible for
supervising the administrative, professional, and technical employees
involved in conducting land surveys, right-of-way design, and mapping
for projects in both the public and private sector, as well as managing
the civil
engineering design for
institutional, educational, commercial, industrial, and retail space. He
also provides a critical leadership role for the firm's engineering
services on residential land development projects in the Las Vegas
Valley; scheduling engineering activities, overseeing development
agreement between developers and governmental agencies. He also supervises the Graphic Design, Marketing,
and Business Development Division activities regarding responses to
RFPs/RFQs, corporate branding, media relations, and client
services. He has been with GCW since 1985. |
