Airports

GCW has performed studies, design engineering, and land surveying for numerous landside and airside projects for the Clark County airport system. GCW has provided services to the Department of Aviation on major capital improvement projects including civil and structural engineering for roadways; civil, survey, utility, and structural services for runways; right-of-way design for substation relocations; traffic engineering and roadway design for domestic and international terminal circulation, parking plazas and ground transportation staging areas; and drainage analysis and flood control system design for planned and ongoing airport development programs. Our experience has trained our engineering staff to plan and develop flexible and maintainable designs for the rapidly changing capacity and safety requirements in the aviation industry and phasing the construction of new facilities so disruption to airport operations is minimal.
